Construction Totes!
I think most knitters and crocheters love project bags almost as much as they love yarn! Personally, my project bag collection is quite vast, but for me, there’s a distinct difference between a “project bag” and a knitting bag.
Finding a portable vessel to hold yarn, needles and maybe a pattern is not a particularly difficult feat. Most anything will do — and my collection demonstrates just that. Currently, I have WIPs stashed in everything from nylon, to leather, to a Ziploc storage bag. I have students who’ve used a salad spinner basket, a stainless steel mixing bowl and an empty Kleenex box.
But finding the perfect knitting bag is not as easy! For me, I want something that can handle the elements (can I plop it on the sand while at the beach? Can I wash it if it gets dirty?), has lots of pockets (both inside and out!) to house all of my tools, notions and maybe an iPad or a laptop…and is big enough to handle a hefty project, but not so big that I can’t take it everywhere.
When I purchased myself an Immodest Cotton Construction Tote I instantly fell in love. It checks all the boxes for me and I think you’ll love them too!
Each tote has five pockets, in various shapes and sizes — three outside and two inside — plus an extra slot on the outside that’s perfect for pencils, scissors or DPNs. They have a sturdy canvas shoulder strap and a shorter leather handle (that can be removed for easy washing!). Plus, they’re heavy duty and designed to last.
Also just in — these adorable Fortune Cookies! Hand-stitched leather charm for keeping what matters most close at hand. Perfect for stitch markers, a row counter, mini travel scissors and more, the contents will stay safe because of the hidden magnetic closure.
A special Mother’s Day promo — Buy a Construction Tote along with a Fortune Cookie and get 20% OFF! Just add both items to your shopping cart and use the promo code MOM to receive your discount. Offer is good while supplies last!
Sandnes Garn Line!
Just in time for warmer weather - one of my favorite summer yarns is here!
The warm-weather best seller, Sandnes Garn Line, is a unique blend of fibers that offers a beautiful balance of texture, softness, and durability. Made from 53% cotton, 33% viscose (bamboo), and 14% linen, this yarn combines the best of all three fibers to create a luxurious product that is incredibly soft but still looks like linen with a beautiful drape. With a plethora of incredible patterns designed using this yarn, you’ll have a hard time deciding which one to make first!
