Class Spotlight | Piper Beach Bag
We’ve had so many requests for a summer crochet bag class, so we bring you the Piper Beach Bag from Flax & Twine! We love the light, ready-to-go, crocheted bag made from Flax & Twine’s brand new Sundrift Paper Raffia — a high-quality fiber made from 100% untreated wood pulp.
Class Spotlight | Tulipan Tee
For this introduction to the Intarsia knitting technique, we will be creating the My Duo Scarf by NORgardknitters — a chic diamond shaped scarf with contrast-colored edges. The scarf is worked tip to tip, with regular increases on both sides and a fantastic triple chain stitch edge that doesn’t roll!

I think most knitters and crocheters love project bags almost as much as they love yarn! Personally, my project bag collection is quite vast, but for me, there’s a distinct difference between a “project bag” and a knitting bag.
Finding a portable vessel to hold yarn, needles and maybe a pattern is not a particularly difficult feat. Most anything will do — and my collection

Some Things I’m Loving…
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I wanted to share this recipe for a super quick + super easy + super delicious Microwave Sticky Toffee Pudding. I made it a couple weeks ago and it was a winner.
Year of DK Hats!
Back in 2019, Kelbourne Woolens released their Year of Hats and at the time, I was managing a LYS and put together a monthly subscription for the kits. I loved the concept of knitting one hat a month and then by year end, having a dozen hats to gift or share!
Class Spotlight | Mary’s Beaded Mitts
My friend, Mary, has been knitting and wearing many iterations of this beaded fingerless mitt for years. Questions like — Where did you get those? Did you make them? Where can I get the pattern? — are frequently heard every time she wears them. And, why not? They are fabulous!
Class Spotlight | Clog Socks
I love Summer Lee socks, so when I saw her latest pattern release, Clog Socks — featuring all-over cables, a unique heel construction and DK weight yarn I knew this would make a great sock class!
The heavier gauge makes these socks a great option for a class setting
